JERUSALEM, Dec. 11 (Xinhuanet) -- Israeli Public Security Minister Gideon Ezra and Police Commissioner Moshe Karadi left for Paris on Sunday to share with their French counterparts lessons Israeli security services have learned from experiences with riot.
They are expected to meet with French Interior Minister Nicolas Sarkozy and police chief to pass on methods of managing the sort of lawlessness witnessed during the riots in Paris suburbs in recent weeks, according to Israeli newspaper Haaretz.
The French are said to be highly interested in Israeli know-how on the matter.
In addition, the two sides are expected to discuss closer cooperation between the Israeli and French police forces.
